The Senior
Specialist will bring 10+ years of relevant energy industry experience to enhance the lifecycle planning of regulated facilities. You'll play a critical role in refining closure cost methodologies and developing standards that ensure protected and productive decommissioning practices. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key for successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Develop standards for facility decommissioning practices
Identify regulatory inconsistencies in facility operations
Improve closure cost estimation processes
Review suspension and decommissioning activity reports
Collaborate on energy policy initiatives with provincial authorities
Requirements:
Degree in chemical, mechanical, petroleum or environmental engineering
10+ years in related operations or facility engineering
In-depth knowledge of energy facility regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in skilled settings
