This positions runs from mid to late August until mid December.
Pay is $22-$25/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Receive fruit, operate crusher/de-stemmer, must pump, press
-Clean and sanitize presses, tanks, hoses, pumps, etc.
-Rackings, transfers, blending
-Inoculations and additions
-Pumps overs, punch downs
-Barrel work (filling, topping, cleaning)
Bottling and disgorging Requirements:
-Must be able to lift up to 55lbs, stand for long periods, work outside in varying weather, comfortable with heights and confined spaces
-Must find own accomodation
-Must be able to work long and versatile schedule
-Must be legally permitted to work in Canada, no LMIA will be undertaken Can be sn asset:
-Forklift experience
-Confined space training
-Lab experience
-Organic winemaking experience
-Formal wine education
