Reporting to the Assistant Director, Finance, your role will encompass the full cycle of event-related accounting, including cost tracking, revenue reconciliation, and tax compliance. A detail-oriented individual will thrive in this position as you ensure optimal financial operations within a quick-paced and expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage comprehensive accounting functions for all events
• Conduct month-end closes and maintain accurate records
• Prepare event P&L; statements and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with multi-jurisdictional tax requirements
• Provide analytical support for process improvements
Requirements:
• 3+ years of accounting in Festivals & Events or Hospitality settings
• Comprehensive experience with month-end close and reconciliation
• Familiarity with Sage accounting software and Excel
• CPA designation or progress towards the certification
• Proven ability to foster communication and collaboration
