In this role, you'll evaluate project specifications and develop competitive bid strategies. Drawing on your estimating expertise, you'll assist in pinpointing scopes of work and calculating material quantities. Your efforts will support project alignment with cost goals and optimal engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare thorough estimates through analysis of documents
• Assist in bid strategy development for project tenders
• Calculate material quantities and complete takeoffs
• Review final estimates to meet cost objectives
• Foster relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in construction
• Advanced skills in HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software
• Familiarity with CAD, Bluebeam, and MS Project Suite
• Legal eligibility for employment in Canada
