Enhance student experiences at the University of Toronto Scarborough as the Global Mobility Co-op Coordinator. Your role empowers Arts and Science undergraduate students to pursue international work terms, guiding their journey through preparation and success.
In this full time position, you will focus on supporting students interested in out-of-province and international co-op opportunities. Collaborate with various departments and partners to ensure students are well-equipped for their job searches, relocation, and cultural adaptation. You’ll also provide coaching and resources tailored to assist students from diverse backgrounds in navigating their experiences abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide students through international job searches • Deliver workshops on cultural adaptation and relocation • Conduct pre-departure and return sessions • Maintain regular contact with students during work terms • Facilitate reflection activities for skill articulation
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Minimum five years in student mobility support • Robust understanding of student development theories • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
