As a full-time Legal Assistant, you will offer essential administrative support to lawyers in the Indigenous Justice Centres. Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and process legal documents for IJC
• Maintain accurate client files using Clio
• Organize and manage legal documentation and disclosures
• Coordinate the lawyer’s calendar effectively
• Attend community engagements to foster relationships
Requirements:
• 2+ years of legal assistant experience
• Respect for Indigenous practices and culture
• Proficient in computer applications and Clio
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
• Transparent criminal record check as part of hiring
