Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP (Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta) is looking for a full‑time Environmental Project Manager to join its remediation and emergency response team. The position focuses on transportation and commercial release projects, managing the remediation process, client reporting, and business development support.
Role Responsibilities Emergency response activities including initial investigation, real‑time remedial planning, subcontractor management, cost control, field supervision, and documentation.
Spill response – manage contractors in the field and maintain scientific documentation of remediation progress.
Prepare client and regulatory reports and liaise with regulators and stakeholders.
Participate in client engagement and business development activities.
Make on‑site decisions with support from head office; work required may include travel, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements Degree in Environmental Engineering,
Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, or related field (or equivalent college diploma).
Minimum 2 years in the environmental field with at least 2 years of project management experience.
Experience in soil and groundwater remediation projects, including delineation, monitoring, and management.
Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other project management tasks.
Robust verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
Versatile schedule with readiness for after‑hours, weekends, and occasional travel.
