HomeTeam Live Technologies Inc. is a Canadian-headquartered live sports streaming company operating across Canada and the United States. We install and operate camera infrastructure at venues so that fans, families, scouts, and alumni can watch games that would otherwise never be broadcast — independent baseball, arena football, junior and youth hockey, college athletics, and school division sport. Our product suite also includes Highlight IQ, our AI-powered highlight generation platform.

We are a growing team, which means the person in this role gets real exposure to how deals actually get built rather than being parked on a phone list indefinitely.

The Opportunity

This is an entry-level sales role built as a launch pad. You will start by generating leads — working through target lists of athletic directors, sports information and communications staff, league administrators, venue operators, and school division contacts to book qualified meetings for our Business Development team.

As you learn the market and the product, you will sit in on live sales calls to see how discovery, pricing, and partnership conversations are run, and you will begin taking on light account management for existing streaming partners: check-in calls, season-start coordination, renewal reminders, and making sure small issues get to the right person before they become big ones.

The path forward for someone who performs well is toward owning their own accounts and, eventually, their own deals.

What You'll Do

Outreach, Lead Generation & Appointment Management (primary focus)

- Make a consistent volume of outbound calls and send follow-up emails to prospects across our target verticals
- Qualify prospects against our fit criteria and book meetings on the calendars of senior sales staff
- Work assigned target lists (Collegiate athletics, High school divisions, junior and amateur leagues, venues, tournament organizers) and keep them clean and current
- Log every call, email,



and outcome in the CRM accurately on a same-day basis
- Follow structured sequences, and give feedback on what's landing and what isn't

Learning the Sale

- Attend discovery and demo calls as an observer, then as a participant
- Take notes, capture action items, and suggest post-call follow-up
- Build working knowledge of HTN's streaming model, camera infrastructure, subscription and per-event pricing, and software products

Account Support

- Conduct scheduled check-ins with a portfolio of existing streaming partners
- Confirm season schedules, broadcast dates, and partner-side contacts ahead of each season
- Flag renewal dates, service issues, and upsell signals to the account owner
- Keep partner records, contacts, and notes accurate in the CRM

What We're Looking For

Required

- Comfort making outbound phone calls to people you have never spoken with, every day
- Clear, skilled written and verbal communication in English
- Organized and self-directed — able to work a list without someone standing over you
- Coachable: you want feedback and you apply it
- Computer and AI literacy (email, spreadsheets, CRM and/or willingness to learn quickly)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Able to work onsite in Saskatoon

Nice to Have

- Any prior customer-facing experience (retail, hospitality, call centre, fundraising, front desk)
- Familiarity with amateur, junior, high school, or college sport in Canada or the U.S. — as a player, official, volunteer, or fan
- Exposure to a CRM, sales sequencer, or ticketing system
- Hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar — for prospect research, list building, drafting outreach, or summarizing call notes. We use them here, and you will be encouraged and supported to use them well.
- Interest in sports media, broadcast, or technology

Not required: a degree, or prior sales experience. We will teach the sale. We cannot teach the willingness to pick up the phone.

Compensation $16 per hour plus incentives
