Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman/woman to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our manufacturing and facility settings. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including mechanical, electrical, and welding expertise, along with strong leadership qualities.

Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs across various facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural components
Oversee facilities maintenance projects, supervising team members or contractors when required
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from facility staff to minimize downtime

Requirements
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar hands-on role within commercial and industrial and hospitality environments
Robust mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics




Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting methods
Supervising experience or leadership skills to coordinate maintenance activities effectively
Excellent communication skills in English for explicit documentation and team collaboration
Ability to use tools to complete repairs in buildings ranging from drywall patch and painting to cutting grass, to snow removal, changing light bulbs and furnace filters, general cleanliness of buildings, etc.
