Become a Support Worker with the Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness Society, helping Indigenous Peoples in Victoria, BC. This casual role emphasizes culturally supportive care as you assist individuals in transitional housing.

You will build rapport with Family Members through advocacy and assistance with cultural programming. Providing emergency response, conducting wellness checks, and maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces are essential. Your work will help ensure a supportive workplace for those transitioning to housing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer one-on-one support and wellness checks
• Encourage participation in cultural programming and resources
• Respond to emergencies and manage paperwork




• Uphold cleanliness standards and perform janitorial tasks
• Support food services and daily home needs

Requirements:
• 1 year experience with vulnerable populations needed
• Required First Aid Certification
• Consent for a Criminal Record Check mandatory
• Naloxone Training Certificate preferred
• Insight into mental illness and addiction effects
