Job Summary
Toromont Cat is looking for a Shop Technician in St. John's, NL. The successful candidate will service a line of Caterpillar equipment and components in our shop, including planning, troubleshooting, repairing, and preparing service reports for customers.

Pay and Advantages
Pay Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $47.30 per hour

Responsibilities

Demonstrate safe,



environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety policies, programs, and initiatives

Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment

Repair and service Caterpillar and all heavy equipment within established standards

Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner

Maintain excellent customer relations through frequent communication

Undertake assignments as required in support of customer needs

Qualifications

Minimum post‑secondary education and a valid Technician Licence relative to this position, following provincial standards

Minimum 3‑5 years of working experience as a Technician
