A hospital in Denver is seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join its inpatient acute care team. Position Overview The Med-Surg RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of acute medical and surgical conditions. This role involves patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and coordination with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care throughout hospitalization.
Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge planning.




Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Promote patient safety and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.
Support a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications Canadian citizenship required.
Canadian Permanent Residents are not eligible for this prospect.
Valid Canadian passport required.
NCLEX passage required.
Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
Active Registered Nurse license or eligibility for licensure.
Strong communication, critical-thinking, and clinical assessment skills.
