Take your first step in planning with Parkland County as a Planner I for Subdivision Planning. Your contributions will directly enhance community development through effective management of subdivision projects and safety standards. This role is part of the Planning & Development Services team and involves working closely under the guidance of the Manager and Senior Planner.

You will review applications for redistricting, conceptual schemes, and provide technical planning advice while engaging in various committees to promote sound practices. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee subdivision planning projects and recommendations
Lead applications for conceptual schemes and agreements
Offer sound planning advice to management
Promote continuous improvement of planning programs
Engage effectively in committee representation Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or a related field
Possibility of Master's Degree considered an asset
Understanding of Alberta’s planning legislation and policies
Proficient in Microsoft Office and graphic design tools
