An established and growing organization in the oil and gas sector is seeking experienced B-Pressure Pipeline Welders to join their team. The successful candidate will perform welding activities on pipeline and pressure piping systems while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and productivity.
This chance is ideal for experienced welders with a background in oil and gas construction, transmission pipelines, facilities, compressor stations, and pressure piping installations.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Travel & Schedule: Ability to travel and work rotational schedules, extended shifts, weekends, overtime, remote locations, and camp settings as required
Position Overview
The B-Pressure Pipeline Welder is responsible for welding pipeline and pressure piping systems in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), project specifications, and applicable industry codes. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding on pipeline and pressure piping systems in accordance with approved WPS requirements.
Complete root, hot, fill, and cap welds using approved welding procedures.
Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, welding procedures, and construction specifications.
Prepare, align, fit, and weld pipe to project specifications.
Conduct pre-heating, post-heating, and welding activities in accordance with applicable codes and procedures.
Ensure weld quality meets client specifications and NDT requirements.
Operate and maintain welding equipment.
Collaborate with pipefitters, labourers, supervisors, and inspection personnel.
Complete daily documentation and quality records.
Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Red Seal Endorsement is considered an asset.
Minimum 3–5 years of oil and gas welding experience.
Experience welding carbon steel pipe in pipeline or pressure piping environments.
Ability to successfully complete project-specific welding tests and qualifications.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Experience
Oil & Gas facilities construction.
Compressor stations and terminal projects.
Pressure piping fabrication and installation.
Technical Experience
Experience with:
SMAW (Stick)
FCAW
GTAW / TIG Root Procedures
*Previous CWB Certification is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and work in physically demanding environments.
Ability to travel and work rotational schedules, extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
