About The Nisga'a School District
In the Nisga'a School District, we uphold our responsibility to nurture the whole child in ways that honour Nisga'a Ayuuḵ, our shared values, and Sayt K'ilim Goot—our commitment to working together with one heart, one path, one nation. Our learning is rooted in culture, community, and the teachings passed down through our ancestors. We serve students throughout the Nisga'a Nation, carrying forward our obligation to reconciliation through genuine relationships, respectful practice, cultural safety, and education that responds to the needs of our people.
Our home in the Nass Valley offers a place unlike any other—rich with opportunities for outdoor exploration, on-the-land learning, and deep cultural connection. It is a place where living, learning, and leading are woven together with the land, the language, and the strength of our Nation.
