A growing service-based organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multi-site field operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery while managing staffing, logistics, customer service, performance, and financial results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support multi-site teams, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence
Coordinate routing, dispatch, and field service activities to ensure effective and timely service delivery
Monitor daily operations and adjust plans to address staffing, equipment, and customer needs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and transportation regulations
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training initiatives
Manage escalated customer concerns and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
Identify trends and implement process improvements to enhance service quality
Oversee operational budgets, monitor costs, and identify efficiencies
Support forecasting, planning, and cost-control initiatives while maintaining service standards
Provide regular operational reporting and performance updates to senior leadership
Maintain clear communication between operations, field teams, and support functions
Serve as the primary decision-maker for urgent or after-hours operational issues
Coordinate resources and communicate effectively during critical situations
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, safety, and profitability
Encourage team-driven initiatives and process enhancements
Qualifications
3–5 years of operations management experience in field service, logistics, or service-based industries
Experience managing multiple locations, teams, and budgets
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with operational reporting systems and workforce management tools preferred
Post‑secondary education in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is an asset
