Position Overview
Kinetic Construction Ltd. has an opportunity within our Victoria Branch for a BIM/VDC Technologist to execute tasks based on established procedures and apply broader knowledge to analyze and solve problems for innovation, research, and development. This position will work closely with the BIM/VDC Specialists to implement and assist in project delivery throughout the design and construction phases.
The salary band for this position is $57,000 - $86,000 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.

Qualifications
Post‑secondary education in Architecture or Engineering is preferred.
In‑depth knowledge of BIM & VDC services, standards,
and implementation.
1‑3 years of production experience in design, drafting or engineering.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Prior experience in the Construction Industry is considered an asset but not required.
Proficiency in reading and creating BIM models using 2D drawings, rough sketches, or verbal direction from the project team.
Proficiency in software such as Autodesk Revit, Trimble SketchUp, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or similar.
Familiarity with platforms such as ACC, Revizto, cmBuilder or similar is preferred.
Strong understanding of building construction and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use time productively, maximizing efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standards of conduct from self and others.
