Contract Details
This is a 3‑month fixed‑term salaried contract, located in Ontario, Canada. Preferably in Toronto.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans
Mentor and guide mid‑level and junior QA engineers
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, Jmeter, and Postman
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes
Act as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assurance
What You Bring:
Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts
Expertise in end‑to‑end, API, and performance/load testing
Familiarity with source/version control such as Git
Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Compensation
Anticipated hourly range: $45 per hour, based on a 40‑hour workweek. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. We are flexible.
