Job Description
TD Wealth takes a sophisticated and holistic goals discovery approach to wealth planning and protection to provide highly personalized advice, solutions and service to clients. The Financial Planning team ensures a legendary customer experience, helping clients set and achieve their financial goals while delivering new business and client loyalty through professional, personalized solutions and award‑winning teams.
Responsibilities
Identify client life and financial goals, provide comprehensive reviews and build long‑term relationships through financial planning expertise, relationship building and ongoing services.
Conduct reporting and relevant analysis; use results to draw conclusions, make recommendations and continually assess program effectiveness.
Contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service and dedication.
Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency, implementing continuous improvements.
Stay knowledge of best practices and procedures and keep ahead of emerging trends.
Acquire and apply expertise, provide mentorship, assistance and direction to others.
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by aligned risk appetite.
Participate fully as a team member, supporting a positive and service‑oriented work environment.
Educational Requirements
University degree (preferred).
3–5 years within the financial services industry managing client relationships,
providing financial advice and tailored investment solutions (preferred).
CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within the first 120 days in role.
Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within the first 3 years in role.
CFP eligibility requires either a university degree or one of the following:
Be a QAFP professional in positive standing for a minimum of 5 years at the time of applying.
Up to 10 years of qualifying work experience.

Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, economic market issues and the regulatory environment.
Excellent people and problem‑solving skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, providing assistance and building relationships.
Vietnamese language skills considered an asset.
