About The Position
This role oversees branch inventory and supply planning, driving performance, managing supplier relationships, and leading a team to support overall business goals.

What you’ll do:

Establishes, tracks, and communicates branch targets related to inventory and service performance

Monitors level of supplier service and maintains working relationships with suppliers and their representatives

Assists in root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances to implement corrective/preventative action plans to avoid reoccurrence

Works proactively with purchasing and sales teams to monitor and reduce underperforming inventory

Assesses purchasing options and completes purchase approvals

Establishes goals and strategies for improved forecast performance for the branch and works directly with the Forecaster and Sales team to review performance and opportunities for improvement

Develops, mentors and trains purchasing personnel including a team of Supply Planners, Forecaster and Inventory Coordinator

Works closely with other department managers to meet and exceed branch goals

Hires, promotes, changes responsibilities of, evaluates and recommends salary increases for staff directly supervised

What you’ll need:

University degree or specialized certification (PMAC, APICS, or related work experience)





Ability to analyze alternatives, use judgment and initiative in managing inventory

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experienced with ERP – MRP systems

Must be highly organized

Minimum 2 years of management experience required
