Magris Talc is seeking an Environmental Technician to enhance their compliance and monitoring efforts in Northern Ontario. This role combines fieldwork with regulatory adherence to support responsible mining practices.

As part of the team at the Penhorwood site, you will be engaged in environmental monitoring, sampling, and reporting, ensuring projects align with local and federal regulations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and is committed to improving environmental outcomes in the mining industry, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support environmental compliance programs
• Conduct water sampling and flow measurements
• Assist with environmental inspections and audits




• Prepare and maintain environmental documentation
• Support incident investigations and sampling coordination

Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or diploma in a related field
• 2+ years of experience in environmental or industrial settings
• Knowledge of environmental compliance and legislation
• Robust critical thinking and communication skills
• Willingness to work outdoors and manage field tasks
