Verona Building Partners is recruiting for a Business Development Manager in Mississauga, Ontario.

This opportunity is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in the construction and architectural/design space. The Sales Representative will manage sales cycles from prospecting through project completion while developing strong partnerships with architects, designers, project/construction managers, and property managers. This role combines strategic account management with current business development in a cooperative, sustainability-focused workplace.

How you will make an impact:

Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, project/construction managers, and property managers

Grow an existing book of business while generating new sales opportunities

Deliver product presentations and provide technical and consultative solutions

Collaborate with internal teams to support project success and client satisfaction

Successful candidates will:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field,



or possess 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Demonstrate proven success in managing large projects with extended sales cycles

Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills

Bring architecture, design, or construction industry experience

Show a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sustainable products

Skills:

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Customer service-oriented with a track record of maintaining long-term client relationships

Time management, follow-up, and follow-through

Demonstrated lead generation and prospecting skills
