Wesdome is looking for an Underground Mining Manager to oversee production at their Eagle River mine in Ontario. This pivotal role focuses on executing mining plans and fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence. Lead teams to ensure effective ore delivery and compliance with all regulatory standards while achieving sustainable production outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead execution of mining production strategies
• Ensure protected delivery of ore to the processing plant
• Maintain operational discipline across all shifts
• Manage personnel and resource availability effectively
• Produce and present operational performance reports
Requirements:
• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent experience
• 10–15 years within the underground mining sector
• Leadership experience of at least 5 years
