Contribute to aerospace innovation as a Turbine Rotating Structures Engineer at Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, Quebec. Take part in the design and certification of next-gen turbine components for aircraft engines.
In this role, you will perform analytical and structural assessments of turbine rotors, utilizing finite element methods for various evaluations. Work within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support the product lifecycle from initial design through fleet support, ensuring the highest integrity standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute thermo-structural analysis for turbine components
• Document and report testing results and integrity analyses
• Optimize designs using advanced software tools
• Define and conduct tests for engine and rig components
• Engage in research for enhancing component durability
Requirements:
• Proficiency in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Experience with CATIA V5 and other CAD/CAE tools
• Robust organizational and communication abilities
• Authorization for PMC/CI work setting required
• Bilingual in French and English preferred
