In this full time leadership role, you will manage nursing and personal care services within the long-term care home. Your key responsibilities include ensuring care plans adhere to skilled standards, supervising staffing levels, and maintaining compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021. You'll collaborate closely with allied health professionals and represent clinical concerns during family council meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all clinical programs and nursing services • Oversee nursing staff recruitment and scheduling • Ensure compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act • Manage medication and infection prevention protocols • Provide clinical leadership during critical events
Requirements: • Active RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in long-term care • Leadership experience in supervisory roles • Current BLS/CPR certification • Vulnerable sector police reference check
