Chief, you will report to the Deputy Fire Chief, providing guidance and support to Platoon Captains. The role demands a broad knowledge of fire operations and exceptional relationship-building skills, assuring effective responses in high-stakes scenarios. Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning and execution of fire services
Ensure team effectiveness and operational excellence
Communicate and enforce regulatory guidelines
Drive initiatives for improved service delivery
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:
Ten years in municipal fire services experience
NFPA 1021 Fire Officer III certification required
First Responder certification essential
Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
Valid Class 3 BC Driver's Licence with Air Brake
