Director of Finance Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote) Salary: $170,000-$190,000 (pro-rated for the 6-month contract) Job Type: 6-month contract Posting Type: Open Vacancy Provide strategic and operational leadership to the finance function, ensuring business continuity throughout the engagement. Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Canadian accounting standards. Manage the external audit process and act as the primary liaison with auditors.

Oversee all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and cash flow management, Payroll, Investments, Pension accounting Ensure compliance with Canadian GAAP, regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and internal controls. Evaluate and enhance financial reporting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies. Lead, mentor,



and support the finance team while fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.

Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and implement finance best practices. Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior management responsibilities. Robust expertise in financial reporting, external audits, internal controls, treasury management, investments, and pension accounting.

Demonstrated experience leading finance teams within complex organizations.

Experience in the not-for-profit sector is considered a solid asset. Competitive compensation of $170,000-$190,000 (pro-rated for the contract). Hybrid work model with 3 days onsite in Mississauga and 2 days working remotely. Chance to make an immediate impact during a key leadership transition.
