Overview
Engineering Professional – Landing Gear – Airbus Canada Limited Partnership

Location: Mirabel, Québec, Canada. Full‑time (40 hrs per week). Salary: $75,000 per annum. Permanent, skilled experience level. Language of work: French or English.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the technical design and modification of mechanical components and systems following the Airbus Canada Change Management process.

Review and validate technical documentation, engineering drawings, and supplier deliverables to ensure conformity with design requirements and operational standards.

Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve technical mechanical issues.

Investigate and assess mechanical non‑conformities and system deficiencies, proposing corrective actions.

Support the Final Assembly Line (FAL): handle Reports of Non‑conformance (RNCs) and participate in the duty roster per the assigned schedule.

Plan and manage projects supporting the FAL, preparing material and cost estimates and related reports.

Provide engineering guidance on mechanical system installation, modification, and commissioning to support production and assembly operations.

Prepare Non‑incorporated Engineering Orders (NIEOs)



and update Restriction and/or Special Instructions (RSI) to accommodate Flight Test Center needs regarding mechanical system modifications and maintenance.

Qualifications

University degree in mechanical engineering.

At least two (2) years of relevant experience in landing gear.

Knowledge of Airbus Final Assembly Line (FAL) processes, including Reports of Non‑conformance (RNCs).

Proficiency with the Google suite.

Strong autonomous working capability and team‑player attitude.

Positive knowledge of French or English (written and spoken).
