GFL Environmental is looking for an Excavator Operator to join our team in Delta, British Columbia. As an operator you will safely operate an excavator, bale, load and move material. Operate an excavator to bale and load soil or other material in the yard.

Perform inspection and maintenance checks of equipment daily. Operate, steer, guide, and drive the listed equipment at the assigned site using controls as applicable. Clean trash from tracks of heavy equipment by removing material from tracks and gear mechanisms at least daily (more as needed).

Use a two-way radio to communicate with co-workers in the field and/or office regarding work activities and priorities. Work in outdoor environments 100% of the time. Conform to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Must have reliable transportation to travel between work sites. Ability to work adaptable schedules, including day or afternoon shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. visa sponsorship is not provided.
