Become a key leader as a Road Foreperson with Dawson Road Maintenance, based in Williams Lake, BC. This full time role involves supervising crews to ensure road safety and maintenance effectiveness.
As a Road Foreperson, you will report to the Superintendent, managing maintenance activities across the service area. You'll leverage your extensive road maintenance experience and leadership skills to ensure efficiency, safety, and effective communication with stakeholders, including government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct maintenance crews and subcontractor operations
• Maintain high safety standards across all tasks
• Communicate effectively with various government and agency representatives
• Operate machinery as necessary based on qualifications
• Enhance efficiency of scheduled maintenance work
Requirements:
• At least three years in management roles required
• Minimum five years in road maintenance knowledge
• Valid Class 3 Driver's License and Air Brake Endorsement
• Clean driving abstract required
• Ability to work in diverse outdoor conditions
