Job Responsibilities
As a Pricing Specialist , you will play a key role in supporting our sales and operations teams by preparing accurate and competitive pricing solutions for customers across North America.

Prepare accurate customer quotations for truckload, specialized, heavy haul, ocean container, and project freight.

Analyze customer requirements and determine the most efficient transportation solution.

Build pricing using current market conditions, carrier costs, fuel, permits, escorts, accessorial charges, and operational requirements.

Work closely with Operations, Dispatch, Sales, and Business Development to ensure pricing aligns with operational capabilities.

Review customer tenders and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

Maintain pricing databases and customer rate agreements.

Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive rate strategies.





Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders regarding pricing requests and service solutions.Assist with strategic pricing initiatives to improve profitability and customer retention.

Ensure quotations are completed accurately and within customer timelines.

Qualifications
As the successful candidate, you will be self‑motivated, results‑driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of transportation pricing, logistics, dispatch, or operations experience.

Previous experience pricing truckload, specialized transportation, heavy haul, or ocean container freight.

Strong understanding of transportation operations and freight costing.

Experience preparing quotations for project freight and specialized moves is considered a strong asset.

Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations and industry practices.

Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.

Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience with TMW is considered a strong asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
