Humans of HR is partnering with a reputable organization to find an experienced US & Canadian Payroll Specialist to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has solid experience managing end‑to‑end US payroll processes with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.

What you’ll be doing:

Processing end‑to‑end US payroll for employees across multiple states

Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Managing payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting

Supporting employee payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies





Collaborating with HR and Finance teams on payroll‑related matters

Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation

What we’re looking for:

3+ years of experience processing US payroll

Strong understanding of multi‑state payroll regulations and compliance

Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

PCP/CPP designation considered an asset

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Location & Work Arrangement:

Candidates based in BC: Preference for Hybrid model (2 days in office)

Candidates outside BC: Fully remote option available
