Position Summary
We're looking for an experienced deployment-focused technical leader to join Fujitsu's AI and optimization team. This role is responsible for maximizing the impact and scalability of customer deployments by shaping how solutions are deployed—not only what is built.
About the Position
As a Deployment Strategist, you will help define deployment patterns, engagement models, and delivery approaches that allow AI, optimization, and data‑driven solutions to scale across customers and industries. You will work at the intersection of customer problem framing, pre‑sales execution, technical feasibility, scope definition, and delivery risk management.
This position is within the Professional Services team, where you will work alongside forward deployed engineers, data scientists, engineers, software developers, and sales stakeholders to ensure customer engagements are feasible, well‑scoped, and aligned to measurable business value.
Define deployment patterns, archetypes, and engagement models that enable repeatable, scalable delivery across customers and use cases
Determine which solution components should be customized, standardized, or productized to maximize long‑term impact and reuse
Support pre‑sales engagements by evaluating technical feasibility, delivery risk, deployment approach, and overall executability
Draft project scopes, delivery plans, assumptions, dependencies, and resource estimates in collaboration with sales and delivery teams
Build proofs‑of‑concept, technical demos, and deployment narratives in partnership with field deployment engineers and technical teams
Help customers articulate goals, success metrics, constraints,
and operating assumptions early in the engagement lifecycle
Push back constructively on ill‑defined, low‑leverage, or misaligned requests and reframe them around business value
Anticipate technical, organizational, and delivery risks, and ensure deployment scope remains aligned to customer outcomes
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in engineering, computer science, data science, operations research, business, or a related quantitative or technical field
Experience in consulting, solution delivery, technical pre‑sales, deployment strategy, product implementation, or a comparable client‑facing technical role
Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into clear problem statements, success metrics, delivery plans, and scoped technical work
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade‑offs, deployment risks, and business implications to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Experience assessing technical feasibility, delivery complexity, and implementation risk for customer‑facing solutions
Organized, articulate, and able to manage multiple customer engagements, deliverables, and internal stakeholders at any given time
Familiarity and willingness to work in cross‑cultural, geo‑diverse, and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise AI, data, optimization, analytics, or digital transformation deployments
Experience with Palantir Foundry or a comparable deployment, data, analytics, or application development platform
Experience building technical demos, prototypes, or proofs‑of‑concept for customer engagements
Experience contributing to statements of work, project plans, estimates, delivery assumptions, or commercial proposals
Experience working with field deployment engineers, product teams, sales teams, or solution architects to move from customer need to executable delivery plan
Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and applying sound judgment to balance customization, standardization, and productization
Pay and Perks
The pay range for this position is estimated at $121,284.80 to $155,937.60 CAD.
Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short‑term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
