Overview Role:
As the Service Department Manager, you'll provide strategic leadership for the entire service operation while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and strong financial performance.
Responsibilities Leading, coaching, and developing Service Foremen and Service Technicians
Managing scheduling, staffing, and daily service operations
Driving departmental efficiency, productivity, and profitability
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Resolving complex service issues with professionalism and confidence
Monitoring key performance indicators and departmental budgets
Improving systems, processes, and operational workflows
Supporting health and safety initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance




Helping develop future leaders within the organization
Qualifications Extensive experience within HVAC or mechanical service operations
Previous leadership or management experience
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Experience improving processes and building high-performing teams
Experience Commercial or industrial HVAC experience
Hydronic heating systems
Boiler and burner systems
Greenhouse mechanical experience (an asset, not required)
Budgeting and financial management
Experience leading organizational change
