Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates, and monitors the delivery of various web content activities and plans navigability and site usage to improve usability and usefulness for TransLink’s online users.

Assigns and checks the work of Electronic Media Coordinators, ensuring quality control and signing off on final web production.

Integrates social media and mobile communications with TransLink online properties and promotes growth of all digital marketing as a unified TransLink web brand.

Conducts quality assurance checks of content and graphics and resolves related issues.

Ensures the integrity of the Content Management System (CMS).

Trains internal staff and current developers on CMS, developing training materials and presenting workshops in classroom or one‑on‑one formats.

Participates in writing and editing of other marketing pieces.

Collaborates with the Manager, Enterprise Marketing to develop the enterprise strategic digital marketing plan and organizes, coordinates and oversees website initiatives to deploy resources (internal and external) and schedule digital/online activities to address business needs.

Qualifications
Requires diploma in Marketing or Communications plus additional post‑secondary courses in online/web/mobile marketing including basic internet development languages (HTML).

Experience
Requires minimum three (3) years of experience in online marketing and communications,



including writing and copy editing in an online environment, basic web design and layout, web content management systems, web‑based communications, including social networking and collaborative online communications, user interface and content navigation, and analytics measuring and reporting; experience managing online projects. A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to become familiar with TransLink and its subsidiaries’ business culture, target markets, policies, procedures and standards.

Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week.

Position Details
This is a full‑time temporary position for seven (7) months.

Work Designation
Hybrid – offers the flexibility of working both on‑site and remotely within B.C.

Rate of Pay
Salary $7,556 - $9,062 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
