Aircraft Maintenance Planner, Auditor
Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. Full‑time position. Operate exclusively onsite with flexible Monday‑to‑Friday hours.

Job Summary
As the Aircraft Maintenance Planner and Quality Auditor, you will develop and maintain aircraft maintenance programs, collaborate with regulatory authorities (Transport Canada and the FAA), and conduct audits to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Planner:

Build and update maintenance programs using regulatory and operational requirements.

Collaborate with regulatory authorities and vendors to maintain program approvals.

Create and publish aircraft maintenance schedules in compliance with Canadian and U.S. regulations.

Prepare progress reports and coordinate with service suppliers.

Develop strategies to maximize aircraft availability, optimize resource utilization, and reduce operational costs.

Maintain plans in the computerized maintenance management system.

Review and amend all airworthiness directives and manuals under responsibility.

Quality Auditor:

Perform internal and external audits of flight test operations.

Document conformance declarations with supporting evidence.

Review weight & balance reports and amendments.

Inspect sub‑contracted parts for compliance with drawing requirements.

Ensure all work is signed off and certifications are entered before aircraft return to service.

Verify aircraft logbook entries reflect maintenance activities.





Confirm certification complies with AMO rules and MPM Part 1 & 2.

Verify parts and materials are certified per CAR requirements.

Report incidents, accidents, and component failures to the Quality Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning.

Bachelor’s degree or DEC in aircraft maintenance, aerospace engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

In‑depth knowledge of the discipline and role.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience with software data processing and Microsoft Office.

Qualified and calm demeanor in stressful situations.

Excellent English for daily technical communication; French proficiency is a plus but not required.

Experience in aircraft maintenance and flight operations.
