YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Store Team Leader, you are the CEO of your store. You are an entrepreneurial‑minded business owner who takes pride in maximizing daily operations, developing a strong team through effective coaching and training, making tough strategic decisions, delivering operational excellence, and maintaining AEO Brand Standards. Most importantly, you bring your real self to work every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive results by maximizing overall store productivity and building guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience.

Own the store’s business plan, analyse reporting and daily sales trends, and make real‑time innovative business decisions to achieve financial goals.

Recruit, hire, retain, and develop a high‑performing team; encourage internal career progression and maintain clear succession plans.

Create a culture of teamwork and recognition; set goals, hold the team accountable to brand standards, and celebrate outstanding performance.

Maintain AEO Brand Visual Standards through ownership of visual and merchandising processes.

Manage workforce scheduling to meet business needs, keeping payroll accurate and leveraging top talent.

Maintain integrity in all decisions, including compensation, audit, shrink results, and adherence to AEO policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Mandates mandatory mandatory mandatories must not appear.

Must love AE and Aerie products.

Must have experience leading functional retail teams.

Must be able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time.

Must know how to lead and develop teams, understand employment law, communicate effectively, and resolve conflicts.





Must possess strong business acumen, analysing reporting to drive sales.

Must be flexible and available to work during guest‑shop times.
