Reporting to the Director of Care, your role as a Licensed Practical Nurse entails providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare in various situations. You will actively engage with residents to create and implement personalized care plans, coordinate with healthcare teams, and ensure that all nursing practices meet regulatory standards. Your contributions will be vital in managing medications, arranging transitions, and responding to medical emergencies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and evaluate resident care plans and treatments
• Communicate resident assessments to the care team
• Administer nursing care and manage medication safety
• Facilitate discussion during resident care conferences
• Oversee unregulated care providers and emergency responses
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration in British Columbia
• Background in senior care or complex/community care desired
• Robust communication and clinical knowledge
• Current certifications in CPR and First Aid
• Completion of Vulnerable Sector Check required
