Transform power systems with Jacobs as a Substation Studies Engineer. Leverage your expertise in power system analyses and modeling to enhance transmission and distribution infrastructure. Jacobs seeks a Substation Studies Engineer with a robust foundation in power system modeling and analysis.

This role requires a minimum of four years of relevant experience, including technical studies and equipment performance evaluation. You will collaborate with teams across North America and internationally to ensure reliable and compliant substation operations. Key Responsibilities:
Perform load flow, short-circuit, and grounding studies
Develop power system models for substation design
Prepare technical reports for stakeholders and clients
Validate equipment ratings and specifications
Collaborate on projects through entire lifecycle Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
At least 4 years of experience in power system studies
Proficient in ETAP, SKM, and PSCAD
Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and CIGRE standards
