Drive electrical engineering excellence with Artemis Gold as an Electrical and Controls Project Engineer in Vancouver. Lead design and execution of complex electrical power systems and automation projects. Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Capital Projects, you will oversee electrical and controls engineering for Artemis Gold's projects.
This role demands expertise in low and high voltage systems, automation, and multi-disciplinary understanding of plant design. You will ensure successful project delivery from concept through operation while managing EPCM service providers and in-house teams. Key Responsibilities:
Design and provide solutions for site-wide infrastructure projects
Manage EPCM contractors and ensure technical quality
Conduct Factory and Site Acceptance Tests for systems
Oversee PLC/HMI integrations with existing SCADA
Prepare specifications, drawings, and scopes of work for in-house projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Qualified engineering designation in British Columbia
5+ years of electrical design experience
Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code
Experience in design documentation and engineering standards
