Shape the future of student access at KPU as the Director of Student Access and Disability Resources. Your leadership will drive initiatives supporting students with disabilities and foster an inclusive educational setting. This management-level role directly reports to the Associate Vice-President, overseeing essential services that promote accessibility and assessment.
The Director will focus on developing strategies to address systemic barriers and to ensure compliance with accommodation responsibilities. You'll work with diverse stakeholders to enhance programs that uplift the student experience. Key Responsibilities:
Direct Accessibility and Assessment & Testing Services
Formulate university-wide inclusivity strategies
Manage resources and funding for accessibility programs
Collaborate with community organizations for improved services
Serve as an advocate for student needs and rights
Requirements:
Master's Degree in a relevant area
Minimum 7 years in postsecondary roles
At least 5 years managing educational teams
Familiarity with union settings and agreements
Experience interpreting medical and psychological reports
