Job Title: Software Quality Specialist IV

Duration: 12 months

Location: Toronto, ON (2 days on site, 3 days work from home – could potentially move to 4 days in office)

Schedule: M-F, core business hours – 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day

CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (asset)

Certifications: Java programming, Selenium, and Appium

8+ years of overall experience

Performance measured by hitting timelines/deliverables (SLAs) and quality of code

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include test creation and process support, automating tests, and enhancing automation frameworks.

Meetings: 1–2 hours per day on average.

Internal client interactions; no access to customer data.

Primarily on site at the client’s location for meetings, team events, and experiences.

MUST‑HAVE Hard Skills

8+ years of experience developing with Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured

SOFT SKILLS

Solid communication skills (written and verbal)

Strong interpersonal skills

Self‑motivated, well organized, able to work independently and in a team environment

Attention to detail, self‑starter, adaptable

NICE‑TO‑HAVE

Java programming, Selenium, and Appium certifications

Experience in banking or financial institutions

Hands‑on Appium experience
