Salary
$94,724 – $114,261 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract
Permanent – Multiple Positions Available

Hours
Part-time – 18.75 hours per week, we offer 2, 3, and 4 week rotations

Location
Various Locations in B.C.

About The Role
As a Community Health Nurse, you will provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities in program areas of community and public health, primary care, and urgent and emergent care. This includes health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.





About You

Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Remote Community Health Nurse must be remote certified (RNC) with BCCNM.

Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification Level C.

Requires a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.

Minimum one (1) year of recent point‑of‑care nursing experience in a related or relevant field.

Please refer to the Job Specification section of the Job Description for more details. Relevant experience may include Community Health Nurse and Travel Nurse.

Pay Range
The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
