Based in Edmonton, our client is an established real estate firm that has been in business for over two decades and is currently looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience.

About the Position

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for various business entities and divisions.

Review financial reports and ensure reporting reflects current corporate structures, trust arrangements, and project activity.

Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgets, variance analysis, and financial planning activities.

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes.

Support external audits and year-end reporting requirements.

Perform account reconciliations and ensure all balances are properly supported.

Streamline accounting processes and improve internal controls.

Support the development and maintenance of financial dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.

Manage full‑cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.





Ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

4+ years of accounting experience

Diploma or degree in accounting

Property accounting experience is an asset.

CPA designation completed or in progress is considered an asset
