Make a difference as a part time Registered Nurse in the University of Rochester's Ambulatory Vascular Clinic. This position allows you to focus on patient care without the demands of nights or weekends.
This role involves providing direct care as a Level II Registered Nurse while actively participating in unit activities and improving the care delivery system. You’ll assist with procedures, offer education to patients, and oversee Ambulatory Care Technicians to maintain effective patient flow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care with Nurse Manager guidance
• Assist in office-based procedures and wound care
• Foster peer support and take on expanded roles
• Manage anticoagulation education and medication tasks
• Collaborate with providers for efficient patient flow
Requirements:
• BSN preferred; minimum of 3 years RN experience
• Demonstrated robust leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities
• Passion for working in a team-oriented setting
• Part time availability, 24 hours a week, Monday to Friday
