The PSE/Electrician Apprentice role places you under the guidance of a Journeyperson, where you will receive hands-on training. You will assist in installing ground systems, assembling electrical components, and performing vital repairs while ensuring safety regulations are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid in construction activities at substations
• Collaborate with Journeymen for equipment installations
• Help in the assembly of structures and cable termination
• Follow all operating safety procedures
• Participate in troubleshooting and repairs of systems
Requirements:
• Enrollment in an Electrical apprenticeship program
• Familiarity with Alberta Electrical Utility Code
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is beneficial
• Must successfully complete drug testing
