A career as a vendor review analyst in the Vendor Review Team at National Bank means acting as a specialist supporting vendor onboarding and evaluation processes. Your role
Review and analyze vendor applications, including but not limited to private sellers, in accordance with established policies and turnaround times
Assess risk exposure and ensure compliance with internal procedures, and regulatory requirements
Investigate, identify and address challenges related to vendors, originators, or clients
Provide clear rationale for declined applications to support communication with partners and stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams to support process improvement, consistency, and operational efficiency
Your team
Within the Vendor Review team, you are part of a specialized team and report to the Manager of Asset Management and Vendor Review. Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in financial services, risk management, equipment financing, or business lending
Experience in analyzing and making decisions on vendor applications is an asset
Knowledge of leasing, collateral security, or lending processes
Proficiency in analysis tools and systems
Ability to work in a high-volume environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and ability to explain decisions clearly
Collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple teams
Attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic workplace
