Position
Hill Crest Community School is a Grade K-9 school located between Fort Vermilion and La Crete with a projected enrollment of 324 students.

Foundations classrooms focus primarily on building students’ literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills. These classes provide targeted instruction for students with identified gaps in learning and are designed to accelerate growth through consistent, explicit teaching and frequent practice.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid work permit

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or applicable equivalent

Must be eligible to obtain or have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

Willing to relocate to northern Alberta

Incentives

Attractive Salary - $71,461 to $115,716 depending on experience and education

$5,000 Transitional Allowance, prorated based on start date

$6,300 Northern Allowance, prorated by FTE for part time teachers
