Sushi Wara is a Japanese restaurant located at Davis Road, Ladysmith, BC V9G 1T9. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Japanese (Sushi) Cook. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail or mail.

Position: Cook
Wage: CAD $21.18/hour
Types: Full time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: hours/week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:
Prepare and cook Japanese sushi items (sashimi, sushi, maki, rolls, etc), in cooperation with the rest of staff
Maintain inventory and records of food
Oversee kitchen operations
Train kitchen staff

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required; and




Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
Skills demonstration may be required.
