This role requires you to create engaging daily activities that align with the daycare's philosophy, ensuring the children's safety and well-being. You'll work closely with parents and colleagues, offering guidance and support tailored to each child's needs. Your responsibilities will include planning programs, maintaining hygiene practices, and ensuring a safe learning setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare quality educational programs
• Lead daily activities promoting children's growth
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for children
• Treat each child with dignity and respect
• Observe and document health signs throughout the day
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Educator Certification
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Experience with children under six years
• Familiarity with First Nations communities is an asset
• Knowledge of Okanagan culture preferred
